ZERO-JCL WAY TO EXTRACT TABLE ROWS THRU THE DICTATES OF A DRIVER FILE

When overwhelmed by the number of variables that will be part of a WHERE clause of an SQL statement, you can have those variables in a flat dataset, and  this tool can take care of the task, without having to be constrained by any size limitations.

  1. Prepare the input dataset where variables for each extracted DB2 Table Row is stored.
  2. Define the positions of the Table columns and the Table Name on the Panel.
  3. Hit PF6.

The extract dataset and the corresponding COBOL COPY will be created, along with related reporting.

(The ENTER key on this Panel, retrieves the Primary Key columns of the table, and populates them on the Panel.)
